Jaipur airport is the only international airport in the state of Rajasthan. Jaipur airport was granted the status of international airport on December 29, 2005. The runway length is 9,177 feet (2,797 m) feet. The civil apron can accommodate four A320 aircraft and the terminal building can cater to 500 passengers at a time. There are plans to extend the runway to 12,000 ft (3,658 m) and expand the terminal building to accommodate 1,000 passengers per hour.
Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Spice Jet, Indigo Airlines, Deccan, Jet Late, Go Air, and Air India operate from Jaipur.
